Meet Dr. Erin McDermott
Dr Erin McDermott graduated with Distinction from Murdoch University with a double Bachelor Degree in Science (Chiro) and Chiropractic. Dr Erin was awarded the Miriam Minty award in 2017 for her contribution to student engagement and education during her time at Murdoch, as voted for by her peers. Erin comes from a background in education, teaching science and biology at high school level and is passionate about health and wellness. She has completed post graduate studies in Chiropractic Paediatrics, and has a special interest in babies and children.
A Variety of Techniques
Dr Erin utilises a variety of management techniques, including diversified, biomechanical blocking, drop piece, ABC and activator techniques as well as some soft tissue therapies including dry needling. Dr Erin continues to attend courses and seminars to constantly build on her knowledge and education.
Working with the Community
Dr Erin is also available for wellness workshops which she provides to local business covering topics of their choice and works with Anglicare WA to deliver some of their parenting connections workshops.
Outside the Clinic
When Dr Erin is not in clinic she enjoys visiting Broome’s beautiful beaches with her husband, two children and dogs or exploring Broome’s surrounds on camping trips.
